Al-Furqaan Foundation was established in 2003 with the mission of delivering the message of the Qur’an to every individual in America in order to fulfill 5 rights the Quran has upon us as Muslims which are: Believe It, Recite It, Understand It, Act Upon It & Convey It.
Several verses of the Quran and many ahadith serve as a basis for inspiration for this project, some are:
“Invite (all) to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and reason with them in ways that are best (and most gracious): Truly, your Lord knows best, (of those) who have strayed from His Path, and (of those) who receive guidance.” Surah An-Nahl, Verse 125
“By (the Promise of) time (through the ages); Surely, man is in loss, except such as (those who) have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of truth, and of patience and perseverance.” Surah Al-Asr, Verse 1-3
The Prophet (sallalahualayhi was salam) has said “Convey from me, even one verse” (al-Bukhari).
Conveying the message does not even require a complete knowledge of Islam. It is however a responsibility that one must convey the message to his/her ability.
Allah (azzawajal) has also promised great reward in fulfilling this obligation of Dawah. Calling people to Allah (azzawajal) also means completing our own worship, the reason for which we are created. It is one of the noblest acts that entail a high reward.
MashaAllah in just few years Al-Furqaan Foundation has launched several projects to fulfill this mission.
SPANISHDAWAH.ORG is one of those projects.
SpanishDawah.Org aims to be the premier dawah project of Al Furqaan for the Spanish speaking community in the U.S. whose motto is to – To Explain, Educate and Invite to Islam in Spanish. It is under the Spanish Dawah project that our Spanish division Libro de Signos (Book of Signs Foundation) exist in the Spanish language.
